Specimens appear on the Specimens panel for one of two reasons:

  1. If they were never added to a shipment on the Specimen Checklist. Remember that Specimen Checklist is the screen used to log specimens. On that screen there are Save and Add to Shipment icons. If you select Save, specimens are not added to a shipment. Instead they are added to this list of specimens that are not shipped.

  1. If they were moved out of a shipment. You would move specimens out of a shipment if you wanted to divide a large shipment into smaller shipments.

Use the drop-down list at the top of the screen to select a period during which specimens were added. Choose Last 7 days to display specimens that have been added within the last 7 days. By default, specimens added in last 30 days are displayed.
